Karolina Samocik

Karolina Samocik has been an associate in Schoenherr's Warsaw office since 2021. Karolina's main area of expertise is real estate. Her experience includes advising both international and Polish investors on transactions related to the acquisition of warehouse, office and commercial real properties. Karolina advises on real estate transactions, the investment process, as well as real estate financing. Karolina also has experience advising clients on environmental law matters including investments in wind and photovoltaic farms. Karolina graduated from the Warsaw University (2019), and as of January 2020, she has been an advocate trainee at the Warsaw Bar Association. From 2018 and until joining Schoenherr, Karolina worked in the real estate department of a leading international law firm.

Krzysztof Pawlak

Krzysztof Pawlak is a Local Partner and has been with Schoenherr since 2018. His main areas of practice are m&a, commercial contracts and corporate restructurings. He also advises clients on corporate compliance and insurance law matters. Krzysztof is a seasoned lawyer with over 17 years of experience in representing international and Polish companies in a wide range of transactions with third parties as well as in structuring intra-group restructurings and corporate reorganisations. A member of the Warsaw Bar, he graduated from Warsaw University in 2002. Before joining Schoenherr, he practised with a national law firm as a senior associate.
