Sophia is leading the way as Co-Head of Setterwalls’ IP Tech Group focusing her business on intellectual property, marketing law, and commercial contracts. The matters she handles typically have an international connection and often present issues in a digital context.

With an active practice spanning over two decades, Sophia has built a strong legacy with a proven track record of success, and she is continuously recognised as a trusted advisor and the preferred go-to adviser for both Swedish and international companies seeking her advice on matters relating to the protection and commercialisation of their intellectual property and other assets. A large portion of the assignments relate to trademarks, copyright, advertising and marketing issues along with handling complicated disputes within these areas. Sophia devotes a significant amount of her time to crafting and negotiating commercial contracts, related to matters such as collaboration, development, licensing, purchase and sales. Sophia has particular experience of the technology industry, including software-as-a-service (SaaS), social media, digital advertising a digital health as well as of the entertainment, media, alcohol, tobacco and FMCG industries, and of general marketing and consumer law issues, such as e-commerce.
