Senior Counsel Åke is a veteran business law practitioner. He has a longstanding and active practice spanning more than 35 years. Partner Anders Holmgren is the head of Setterwalls’ Corporate and M&A practice group in Gothenburg. Anders Linnerborg

Partner Anders Linnerborg has assisted both national and international companies with issues relating to the environment, energy and water since 1992. Since 2010, Anders has been the head of Setterwalls’ environmental law team and since 2017 he co-heads the department with Tove Andersson. Anders Frick

Senior Associate Anders Frick works and has a leading role in Setterwalls’ Real Estate team. Anders is specialized in real estate, particularly real estate transactions, property development, lettings, property financing, joint ventures and fund establishment. He has been involved in many Swedish and international transactions with multinational companies, banks and private Swedish companies as clients. Real Estate and infrastructure interests him very much and he has since 2006 gained valuable experience and knowledge from working in the real estate sector.

Angelica Ström

Angelica advises public authorities as well as Swedish and international companies in matters concerning EU and Competition law, Public Procurement and Anti-Corruption. She assists clients within all aspects of EU and Competition law, Public Procurement and Anti-Corruption with strategic advice, internal investigations and dispute resolution. Her work includes, inter alia, assisting companies with competition law reviews of agreements and collaborations and advising on issues related to abuse of a dominant position and merger control. As part of this, Angelica regularly assist clients in analyzing and notifying mergers to the European Commission and to the Swedish Competition Authority and in relation to dawn raids and investigations carried out by the European Commission and by the Swedish Competition Authority. Partner Bo Berndtsson has more than 20 years of experience in Swedish and international business law, mainly from Swedish and international corporations, but also from law firms. Carl Lindencrona

Partner Carl is an industry veteran with a wealth of expertise, particularly within various types of debt financing transactions. Carl typically assists major banks and other significant financial institutions, as well as borrowers, issuers and investors, in connection with domestic and cross-border acquisitions, leveraged finance transactions, investment grade lending, real estate financing, project financing, asset financing, bonds, and other debt instruments. Cecilia Gauffin

Counsel Since 2011, Cecilia has worked mainly with dispute solution, and she primarily works as a party representative in both national and international arbitration proceedings and disputes before Swedish courts. She has experience from disputes within many different areas of law, including limited company law, contract law and damages law.

Christian Sjöqvist

Partner Christian Sjöqvist assists Swedish and foreign companies with tax advice, primarily relating to structural issues and issues arising in conjunction with the purchase and sale of companies or property. Christian is head of Setterwalls’ tax team in Gothenburg. His work consists largely of providing tax advice in transaction processes, with special focus on the real estate sector. Christian also often provides tax advice when reviewing existing company structures. In addition, he works extensively with various forms of incentive programmes, and also with tax litigation.

Christian Andersch

Christian has been active in the insolvency field for just over 20 years and is regularly appointed as a bankruptcy administrator and company reconstructionist in both small and large and complicated cases. In 2016, Christian was a reconstructor for the Stampen Group, which is probably one of the largest and most complicated reconstructions that has been successfully carried out in Sweden according to the law on corporate restructuring.

Emmelie Tedfelt

Specialist Counsel Emmelie Tedfelt assists Swedish and foreign companies with advice on employment law and dispute resolution. Emmelie has been working at Setterwalls since 2009 and in 2018 she assumed responsibility for employment law at the Gothenburg office. Specialist Counsel Erik Svedlund has more than ten years of experience in construction and real estate law. Erik mainly assists companies in the real estate industry with strategic advice, negotiates and establishes commercial agreements and dispute resolution. The clients usually contact him before and during larger projects such as acquisition/sale of properties/companies, conclusion or renegotiation of rental and lease agreements, procurement, land allocation, land development and construction. Fredrik Roos

Partner Fredrik is a partner since 2010 and the leader of Setterwalls’ IP/Tech team. Fredrik is a technology lawyer and assists Swedish and international companies with technology and IP intensive projects including partnerships, transactions, licensing, sourcing, e-commerce, social media and telecommunications. Girion Blomdahl

Counsel Girion has worked with real estate and environmental law since 2005, except for a break of just over four years, when he served as Judge. In view of his time as Judge, Girion also specialised in procedural law. Starting during the autumn semester 2018, he will on a half-time basis conduct postgraduate studies aiming at a LL.D. at Stockholm University centered at the thesis subject: “Whom dispose over the natural values?” Girion works within a broad field of real estate related matters. His work involves court proceedings, transactions (real estate and share transfers), general advice, leasehold and other usufructs and public real estate law matters, such as cadastral proceedings and planning issues. More unusual issues, such as rights emanating from prescription and land parceling based on the old land division reforms, also end up on his table. Within environmental law, Girion primarily deals with issues of polluted land and transaction-centered environmental law. To this is added procedural law advice in legal proceedings in public courts.

Helena Nilsson

Partner As an attorney, Helena Nilsson assists companies in the Life Sciences sector in a wide variety of issues, often with a regulatory connection. Helena specializes in Life Sciences and thus work with legal issues in, for example, the pharmaceutical, medical technology, cosmetics and food sectors. She focuses primarily on regulatory issues, such as market access as well as marketing and distribution within the mentioned sectors and in other strictly regulated industries, but also work with commercial disputes. Henrik Kjellander

Executive Partner Henrik is Executive Partner of Setterwalls and co-head of Setterwalls’ Employment and Pension law team. Henrik assists Swedish and international companies within all areas of employment and labour law. His clients include both domestic and international companies, as well as public authorities and state-owned companies. Henrik assists several tech companies and has broad experience in working with successful startups, including co-ordinating international expansion. Typical assignments include restructurings, misconduct cases, non-competition and trade secret disputes, and transfer of undertakings. He also works closely with the transaction and tax teams and has expertise in all employment-related issues regarding mergers and acquisitions, partnership agreements, and starting up business in Sweden.

Jesper Kuschel

Partner Jesper Kuschel is a partner in the firm and for more than 20 years, and he is the head of the banking and finance team at the Gothenburg office, and of the German desk. Jesper has worked mainly with banking and financing issues, often within private equity, real estate and the automotive sector. Jessica Schönning

Partner Jessica has extensive experience in negotiating and drawing up complex lease agreements for clients in the real estate sector. Joacim Johannesson

Partner Joacim is leading the way as the head of Setterwalls' FinTech division where he focuses his practice primarily on the FinTech and technology sectors - offering expert legal guidance where law, technology, and business seamlessly converge. Johan Hallén

Johan Strömbäck

Partner Johan is leading the way as head of Setterwalls’ Dispute Resolution Group in Stockholm, focusing his practice on international and domestic arbitration and litigation. Johannes Ericson

Kenneth Nilsson

Specialist Counsel Kenneth Nilsson work within two different areas: financing and insolvency. Kenneth's is active as trustee in bankruptcies and company reorganizer. Kristina Einarsson

Partner Kristina focuses her practise mainly on mergers and acquisitions (M&A), corporate law, reconstruction cases and all forms of alternative investments. Linnea Ljung

Lorentz Reige

Lorentz advises public authorities and private companies and individuals, primarily within the areas Public Procurement, Public Contracts and Swedish Foundation Law. Magnus Steninger

In his role as a member of the Swedish Bar Association for the last 20 years, he has mainly assisted clients in the sale/purchase of shares and companies and also with contracts such as shareholders’ agreements, disputes between owners and joint ventures. Magnus also has appointments from several companies and organisations within a variety of sectors as chairman of the board, board member or board secretary. Magnus Berlin

Senior Counsel Magnus specialises in dispute resolution and helps Swedish and foreign companies to avoid, settle or win commercial disputes. Apart from acting as party representative in arbitration and court cases, Magnus is regularly appointed arbitrator. Not least at these times he benefits from his previous experience as judge in the district court and appeal court (associate judge of appeal in 1992). Malin Wikström

Partner Malin Wikström has 20 years of working experience within the field of environmental law. She assists companies of all sizes as well as the State and municipalities environmental law issues. Per Lidman

Tove Skärblom

Boasting over ten years of experience as a legal practitioner within the fields of environment and energy law, Tove work with environmental permit applications and other matters related to renewable and fossil free energy such as wind, solar and nuclear energy production, mining, quarries, manufacturing industries and water. With previous experience from the energy sector, Tove also has in depth knowledge of issues related to the Swedish Electricity Act.
