He is specialized in commercial, tender/public, compliance and EU regulatory law related to Life Sciences practices.
Aldo is a lawyer who works with leading Italian and multinational companies in the field of commercial and company law, with full experience gained in the pharmaceutical and biomedical sector commercial and corporate law; particular experience in the context of daily consultancy (for any ordinary legal activity), extrajudicial and judicial (in litigation, also relating to liability for damage from defective product) and in support of extraordinary operations.
In particular, he is recognized for his ability in commercial business contracts, in relations with the so-called "Third parties" (agents and distributors), within MedTech and in relations with stakeholders, medical personnel and the Public Administration, as well as in regulatory activities and in the preparation, review and implementation of organization, management and control models pursuant to Legislative Decree n. 231/2001.
An essential feature is his very strong experience with the Healthcare and Life Sciences industry, with a deep knowledge of sector regulations and dynamic. He has a consolidated experience assisting both national and international clients on a range of M&A, corporate and commercial matters, especially in the consumer products, industrial products and advanced technologies sectors. Over the last years, he has dedicated to servicing of corporate NPEs, providing due diligence, management and compliance advice on this matter.

Daniele Caneva is the EY IP Europe West Leader and Head of the Intellectual Property team at EY TAX & LAW ITALY.
His practice focuses on advising national and international clients on a wide range of Intellectual Property matters in addition to assisting clients, from a strategic point of view, with portfolio management. He also has a wealth of experience working with clients on contentious matters in order to protect and defend their intellectual assets. This also includes counsel on labelling and the use of the “Made in Italy” trademark.
Clients include major domestic and international luxury, fashion, pharmaceutical, automotive, media, entertainment, publishing and software companies.

Elena Carpani is a Partner of EY TAX & LAW ITALY and one of the original founding members of the firm’s Intellectual Property team which was established when she arrived in April 2019.

Giovanni’s practice has been exclusively dedicated to Intellectual Property law for 30+ years.
Giovanni has wealth of experience representing leading corporations before the Italian courts in complex cross border litigation cases on patent, design and trademarks also involving antitrust issues - as well advising on technology transfers and licensing.
Of note is the work Giovanni does as an external advisor for IP matters to the Republic of San Marino having contributed to the adoption of their IP Code in 2005 and advising on legislative updates.
