Zara represents Israeli and international entities in the energy and infrastructure fields on many matters, including the development and financing of conventional, cogeneration and renewable power plants, pumped storage plants, desalination plants, transportation, natural gas and other large scale infrastructure projects.

Over the past year, Zara has advised a syndicate of lenders (led by Bank Hapoalim, Mizrahi Tefahot Bank and with the participation of the European Investment Bank) in the financing of the NIS 6 billion Tel Aviv Green Line Light Rail Project that achieved Financial Close in December 2023.

Zara has also advised Bank Hapoalim B.M. and the European Investment Bank on the financing of the Western Galilee 100M m/3/year SWRO desalination plant following the award of the State tender after conclusion of the BAFO process and the lenders (led by Bank Hapoalim) participating in the NIS 3 billion financing of the Cross Israel Highway Expansion Project (route 6) which achieved Financial Close in November 2023.
