Ezgi Baklacı Gülkokar is an intellectual property lawyer advising domestic and international clients on a broad range of intellectual property matters. Her practice focuses on assisting trademark, patent and design owners with the protection, management, and enforcement of their rights in Turkey, with a particular emphasis on contentious proceedings.

She has developed experience in complex trademark and patent litigation, especially in cases involving pharmaceutical patents. Her work often involves advising clients on strategies to navigate infringement risks, regulatory challenges, and parallel disputes, including matters where intellectual property plays a significant role in commercial outcomes.

Ezgi regularly supports clients in the life sciences, automotive and technology sectors, offering practical guidance on enforcement actions, unfair competition issues, and IP portfolio strategy. She is also experienced in addressing challenges posed by infringers and patent litigation through multi-phased litigation considering regulative routes.

She also has experience in handling domain name and company name disputes.

She serves as a panelist for internet domain name disputes at the WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center as well as ISTAÇ (Istanbul Arbitration Center) and TOBBUYUM (Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey, Mediation and Dispute Resolution Center)

Ezgi is a member of the ECTA Internet Committee where she serves as a secretary. She is also a member of the INTA Leadership Development Committee, and AIPPI Pharma and Biotechnology Committee.
