Diversity, CSR and pro bono work

At Norrbom Vinding, we wish to maintain our position as a leading labour and employment practice in Denmark, and our commitment to providing top-quality legal services, both as an employer and a corporate citizen, is at the core of our culture and values. We are dedicated to showing respect for the assignments we are given, respect for the client, but also respect for the employee, lawyer and organisation representing the other party to the proceedings, negotiations, etc. Internally at our firm, it is essential for us to nurture a strong sense of wellbeing, unity, caring and respect for each other, striving to achieve a socially inclusive and diverse, including gender diverse, culture and organisation. By way of example, we are committed to providing equal opportunities in recruitment, training, promotion and all other aspects of employment. Currently, 33% of our partners and 75% of our associates are women.

We have joined the codex of the Association of Danish Law Firms called “advokatKODEKS”, which is a tool for law firms to improve and focus on, for instance, CSR in the Danish law firm industry. In addition, for 10+ years we have been a signatory to the UN Global Compact, actively supporting and integrating the Ten Principles in the areas of Human Rights, Labour, Environment and Anti-Corruption into our business strategy, culture and daily operations.

As a very tangible indicator of our focus on CSR, we provide pro bono assistance to the Danish chapter of Médicins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders (MSF) and PlanBørnefonden. Our firm belief is that by doing what we do best – i.e. providing legal advice – these organisations can dedicate their time and expertise to their goals: delivering humanitarian aid to those in greatest need and supporting children, families and communities in some of the world’s poorest countries.
