Tarek Riad - Legal Consultants and Attorneys at Law

Professor Dr. Tarek F. Riad is the Managing Partner of Tarek Riad & Partners - Legal Consultants & Attorneys at Law (Previously Kosheri, Rashed & Riad), one of the leading practitioners of commercial law and arbitration in Egypt. Professor Riad was the chairman of the executive committee of the Dubai International Arbitration Centre (DIAC) (2013 to 2019). He is also professor and the head of the business and commercial law department at the German University in Cairo. Professor Dr. Riad is currently a member of the Emeritus Council of the ICC Institute and was an alternate member of the ICC International Court of Arbitration (2012 to 2018), and a member of the scientific council of the ICC World Business Law Institute (2005 to 2021). Professor Dr. Riad is also a designated member of the ICSID panel of arbitrators and conciliators. Professor Dr. Riad was lecturer of private international law at Cairo university Benisueif branch law school (1986 – 1988).
