Consultant Ahmed Hashim has extensive experience advising international and regional corporate and institutional clients on a mix of public and private company formation, corporate transactions, capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, securitisation, corporate governance and joint ventures.  In addition, Ahmed Hashim has been acting as a legal advisor and assisting a number of closed and public joint stock companies in  convening general meetings of the shareholders, including but not limited to, reviewing and approving agenda of AGM, EGM & Board of Directors and ensure that invitation procedures in accordance with the Commercial Companies Law, Capital Market Authority Law and the company’s articles of association, attending the General Meetings / Board Meetings and reviewing minutes of general meetings/board meetings,  filing minutes of General Meetings with the MOCI / CMA.

Ahmed is a Senior Associate in AMJ’s Corporate/Commercial Department.  Ahmed’s areas of practice include company formation, share transfers, mergers and acquisition, capital market, corporate governance, regulatory conversion of companies, real estate and company secretarial matters.  Ahmed acts as a legal advisor and assisting a number of closed and public joint stock companies in convening general and board meetings. Ahmed also represents clients before the Omani Courts on a range of private law matters.

Extensive experience advising corporate multinationals, Oman-based public listed companies, leading commercial and investment firms and institutions on debt and equity capital markets transactions, corporate restructuring, mergers and acquisitions), joint ventures and strategic investments.

Armughan is a Senior Associate in AMJ’s Corporate/Commercial Department.  Armughan advises on Omani corporate and commercial law and practice with a particular focus on initial public offerings, listing of alternative funds, mergers and acquisitions and corporate restructuring.

Faiz is a Consultant with AMJ’s Corporate/ Commercial practice. Faiz’s areas of practice include company formations and conversions, compliance, commercial contracts, joint ventures, share transfers, real estate and construction, hotel management, employment and intellectual property.

Mansoor is AMJ’s founder, managing partner and head of the corporate commercial and dispute resolution departments. Mansoor’s specialist areas of expertise include banking and project finance, Islamic finance corporate, natural resources, projects and infrastructure, regulatory, transport, telecommunication real estate and construction, and dispute resolution Mansoor advises private and governmental organizations on wide variety of legal issues both contentious (including arbitrations) and non-contentious  on major commercial and structural projects involving a diverse range of banking, commercial, construction, international corporate and project finance, Islamic finance M&As, privatisations, insurance, capital markets, corporate governance, Islamic law, tax, telecommunications and civil aviation sector, HR/labour matters. Mansoor is a listed Oman Court of Appeal arbitrator who enjoys rights of audience before the Supreme Court.

Marcus is a Partner who heads AMJ’s banking and finance team. Marcus has extensive experience in projects, real estate acquisition, trade and ECA-backed finance and financial restructurings. He has been involved in numerous high value, domestic and cross-border finance transactions, multi-sourced financings including conventional and Islamic financing.

Ravinder is a Senior Associate in AMJ’s Projects and Commercial team. His practice area is extremely broad, covering both conventional power and water desalination projects and renewable energy, privatisation projects, infrastructure, real estate, and construction.  He has experience in acting for sponsors, borrowers, and lenders in respect of energy and infrastructure projects.  He advises clients on Omani law with regard to project lifecycle including corporate, regulatory and permitting issues.

Head of the dispute resolution department. Dr Said specialises in litigation, arbitration, international laws and regulatory.  Dr Said enjoys rights of audience before the Supreme Court.

Zarrar is an associate in AMJ’s Corporate and Commercial department.  Zarrar’s areas of practice are power and water projects, real estate and construction, regulatory, capital markets, mergers and acquisitions. Within his areas of focus, he has advised multiple clients on mergers & acquisitions, various commercial transactions and real estate development projects.
