Tim is a partner in the corporate law / M&A practice and specialises in domestic and cross-border corporate and financial reorganisations, cross-border M&A transactions, corporate governance and corporate financing. Tim co-heads HEUSSEN’s North America desk and HEUSSEN’s Japan desk.

Before joining HEUSSEN, Tim was a partner at Van Doorne and from April 2004 until April 2005, he was the resident partner at Van Doorne’s London office. From March 1994 he worked with the Dutch Landwell firm (and its predecessors) which later merged with Van Doorne. After graduating from Groningen University he started his career in 1991 at an Amsterdam based law firm.

Dutch, English and German.

Member of The Amsterdam Bar. Tim is also a member of the ABA (American Bar Association) and the IBA (International Bar Association).
