Herman is a senior associate in the contract and commercial law practice and in the corporate and commercial litigation practice advising and assisting clients on commercial law matters, with a particular emphasis on commercial contracts. He is also an experienced litigator.

Martijn is a partner in the corporate law and banking & finance practices and focuses primarily on cross-border corporate and financial reorganizations, acquisitions and joint ventures and on cross-border financial transactions including but not limited to syndicated lending, acquisition and leveraged financing and asset-based lending. Martijn co-heads HEUSSEN’s North America desk.

Niels van Gelder

Niels is a partner in the employment law practice. He advises both national and international clients on various employment law matters, with a particular emphasis on individual and collective dismissals, reorganisations and post deal harmonisation of employment conditions, cross-border employment and employee participation issues (works councils). Niels co-heads HEUSSEN’s Japan Desk.

Nils van Dijkman

Nils is a partner in the employment law practice. He advises on various employment law matters, with a particular emphasis on reorganisations, employment law aspects of mergers and acquisitions, industrial relations, cross-border employment and employee participation issues (works councils). He advises both Dutch and international companies, as well as their executives. Nils was Chairman of the Swedish Chamber of Commerce for the Netherlands (2007-2015) and has been awarded the title of Honorary Member. Nils heads HEUSSEN’s Sweden Desk.

Oscar Hoefnagels

Oscar is a civil-law notary and partner in the corporate law practice. He has extensive experience in various aspects of corporate law, and specializes in both domestic and cross-border restructurings, mergers & acquisitions, investment rounds, employee participations, legal mergers and demergers.

Sandy van der Schaaf

Sandy is a partner in the Banking & Finance practice, with a particular emphasis on domestic and cross-border finance transactions, structured finance, securitisation and restructuring. Sandy is also qualified as a Rechtsanwältin and she heads HEUSSEN’s German Desk.

Stan is a partner in the corporate law / M&A practice and specialises in advising and assisting both national and international companies on cross-border and domestic M&A transactions, investments, divestitures and joint ventures. Stan heads HEUSSEN’s China Desk and frequently travels to China, to support HEUSSEN’s Chinese clients with their Dutch and European ventures.

Tim is a partner in the corporate law / M&A practice and specialises in domestic and cross-border corporate and financial reorganisations, cross-border M&A transactions, corporate governance and corporate financing. Tim co-heads HEUSSEN’s North America desk and HEUSSEN’s Japan desk.
