Diversity

Šavorić & Partners has a commitment to inclusion which stems from our core values and our mission. We see this as a contribution to all parts of society as well as a priceless asset to our Firm itself. We do not select or hire future colleagues based on their race, national origin, gender, disability, religion or age. More than half of our legal team (60%) consists of our esteemed female colleagues, with equal salaries, and we are proud to be setting the benchmark ever higher, just as we do in all segments of our complex and demanding professional work.

We honestly believe that by including people who come from different backgrounds we are expanding our perspectives and ways of thinking. This is exactly why our team members have diverse experiences such as studying abroad, conducting research through many renowned international programmes and in various jurisdictions, all with a goal to broaden their horizons and accept, as well as benefit, from diverse approaches. We support our colleagues during pregnancy with the utmost care and consideration, ensuring they receive the support they need, akin to our approach in supporting any team member through times of temporary health challenges. We also have particular commitments towards disabled persons and we are proud to have employees with disabilities.

We have worked on a series of pro bono cases that we found to be of the outmost importance to our community as a whole. We also act in other pro bono matters, such as representing low or no income citizens that are facing eviction from their homes.

Our commitment to recruit the very best pushes us even further in helping young, bright minds excel, learn and grow. That is why we hold lectures and speeches, host and organise different competitions for students in Croatia and in the region.

We also act through local charities and our Firm donates funds to less developed parts of our country. We have helped several initiatives, including humanitarian organizations and NGOs, Initiatives for medical treatments, for the Children’s Clinic & Oncology Department, for medical devices, for association that works with children who have Down’s syndrome and many others.
