Data protection and compliance: Elmann provides advice on data protection compliance, including whistleblower hotlines and BCR. The team also assists in connection with investigations in relation to FCPA and the UK Bribery Act.

Employment: Elmann advises on all aspects of employment law. The team has broad experience with both domestic and cross-border transactions, including due diligence reviews, bonus and stock options plans, as well as service and severance agreements.

EU and competition: Elmann advises on EU and competition law, including merger control.

Insolvency and restructuring: Elmann advises on all aspects of insolvency law. The firm represents businesses in financial distress but also provides advice to creditors. The firm also acts as a trustee in bankruptcy proceedings.

IP and IT: Elmann provides advice on all aspects of IP and IT with a focus on copyright and trade mark law. The team has broad experience advising on complex contracts and outsourcing.

Dispute resolution: Elmann represents clients both before arbitration tribunals and the ordinary courts, including the Supreme Court. In recent years the team has been involved in some very high-profile matters before the ordinary courts. Further, the team is often involved in commercial arbitration.

Mergers and acquisitions: Elmann has acted as adviser in a large number of complex transactions, both domestic and cross-border. The team provides advice on all types of corporate transactions, including private equity and venture capital transactions.

Public and administrative: Elmann advises public authorities and provides advice to businesses on environment and planning law, urban and area development, PPP projects, and public procurement and state aid.

Real estate and construction: Elmann advises on all aspects of commercial real estate and construction contracts, including the financing aspects. The team has broad experience with real estate transactions as well as dispute resolution related to commercial real estate.

Tax: Elmann advises on transaction-based tax business, tax issues and tax issues related to succession planning for private clients.
