The firm: Kovacevic Prpic Simeunovic (KPS) is a Croatian law firm providing the full scope of legal services to corporate clients. The firm is led by three well established partners with extensive experience and expertise in a number of practice areas. Since its incorporation in 2014, the firm has been growing steadily and now encompasses a team of ten. KPS has well developed connections with a number of international law firms as well as several law firms within the CEE region. KPS and its partners are members of several international law firm associations such as International Bar Association (IBA), Global Business Lawyers (GBL), European Air Law Association (EALA) and CEE Law Firms Alliance (CEELFA). KPS is one of the founding members of the Croatian Transport Law Association and is a member of German-Croatian Industry and Commerce Chamber (AHK).

Areas of practice: The firm provides expert and personally tailored legal advice to domestic and foreign clients in all areas of commercial and business law, as well as representing them in court and administrative proceedings. KPS co-ordinates and undertakes complex projects and legal transactions, providing services in Croatian, English and German. Its team has in-depth knowledge of all aspects of the banking and finance sector and significant expertise in mergers and acquisitions of banks, or banks in recovery, as well as in NPL transactions. Working closely with other professional advisors, KPS has vast experience in undertaking legal due diligence assignments, negotiating and structuring M&A transactions as well as their implementation. Aviation and transport law are also one of the core areas of the firm’s practice, but KPS also regularly advises on corporate and commercial issues faced by clients in their daily business, including employment and corporate restructuring.
