Anders Hammer Hansen

Emelie Svensson

Emelie Svensson is managing the portfolio of well-known trademarks, from the field of luxury goods and motor vehicles, to the largest players in the entertainment business and film producers. She specializes in European Business Law with an expert knowledge of Intellectual Property Law and Competition Law. She mainly handles international intellectual property disputes where she advises, negotiates and litigates on behalf of well-known global firms throughout Scandinavia. Emelie is specialized in providing IP services in all aspects, all from protecting a trademark portfolio online, handling oppositions, dealing with tech law in respect to filesharing and copyright and by safeguarding clients right the adverting field in addition to advising in the pharmaceutical sector. She assists Swedish and Danish companies in cross-border matters as the only Swedish qualified lawyer working in Denmark and as Board Member of Øresundsadvokater. She holds a vast experience in assisting in the establishment of foreign companies in Sweden including the entire process from the company setup, corporate questions, legal documents, and employment matters. Emelie is heading the Swedish Team at NJORD Law Firm, which counts as most specialized Swedish legal department in Denmark and which is the most frequent filer of copyright matters to the Swedish Patent- and Market Court. She is since March 2019 is a Board Member in the Swedish Bar Association’s Unit for Foreign Attorneys. Jeppe Brogaard Clausen

Jeppe Brogaard Clausen is a specialist in intellectual property law and the Cannabis industry. For more than 25 years, Jeppe Brogaard Clausen and his team have been advising well-known international firms in Scandinavia on intellectual property, and litigated numerous cases for well-known companies as Coca-Cola, Burberry, Louis Vuitton, Nike, Ferrari, Hermès and many others. Jeppe Brogaard Clausen is also an expert in law and businesses on cannabis in Denmark and has since the legalization of medical cannabis in Denmark been advising industries from bulk production to consumer goods in cannabis. Lars Lokdam specialises in the purchase and sale of enterprises, and he has completed more than 200 mergers and acquisitions, especially for international companies. Since 2014, he is the managing partner of NJORD Law Firm. Lars Lokdam assists many of Europe’s and USA’s major groups on an ongoing basis, and he is also chairman of the board of directors of a large number of companies. Attorney at law Lene Ishøj has 4 years of experience working as a lawyer with international road transport at ITD (International Transport Denmark). Lene Ishøj has an in-depth knowledge of the transport sector and has assisted a large number of road hauliers and transport companies with legal disputes and contractual matters. Lene Ishøj is specialized in international trade and transport law. Lene Ishøj is a member of CMI and Young CMI, which is a subsidiary of the National Maritime Law Association for younger lawyers. In addition, Lene Ishøj is also a member of WISTA (Women’s International Shipping & Trading Association) and WIS (Woman in Shipping).

Miriam Michaelsen

Miriam Michaelsen leads NJORD's interdisciplinary legal team, providing counsel and assistance to individuals, businesses, and organizations in cases related to cybersecurity, digital harassment, and violence. Additionally, she conducts legal proceedings involving digital infringements, including the unlawful sharing of images and videos with offensive content on the internet. These cases range from criminal matters involving sentencing, compensation, and restitution to specialized areas of law such as copyright law, personal data law, marketing law, and compensation regulations. As part of NJORD's corporate law team, Miriam Michaelsen also provides legal assistance to clients in corporate law matters, including establishment, purchase, and sale. In 2017, she founded the Digital Responsibility Association, which advocated for up-to-date legislation and effective investigation of digital infringements. Additionally, she has been appointed by the Minister of Culture as the chairperson of the Media Council, where she works to improve and secure the digital well-being, welfare, skills, and rights of children and young people.

Nis Peter Dall is primarily engaged in data protection law, IT law and internet law, and he is a certified IT attorney. In the field of data protection law, Nis Peter Dall has comprehensive knowledge of both national and international data processing conditions, including concerning compliance, data processing agreements, and transfer and security conditions in the private as well as the public sector, and Nis Peter Dall has also been engaged in health data protection law. Nis Peter Dall has long experience in IT-related agreements, including acquisitions, licence agreements, development agreements, operation and maintenance agreements and cloud computing. Furthermore, Nis Peter Dall provides advice on e-commerce, marketing law and intellectual property rights, especially in the digital field, e.g. data base rights and other aspects relating to the internet.

Robert Mikelsons

Robert Mikelsons is the co-head of NJORD’s tax specialist group. He gives advice on and conducts cases in relation to tax law and law governing VAT and indirect charges, including international tax law. He is considered one of Denmark’s leading experts on these areas. Robert Mikelsons has for more than 20 years conducted leading and value-adding cases in relation to tax and VAT before numerous courts, including the Supreme Court and the EU Court of Justice. He also serves as an expert witness on Danish tax law and on the EU VAT directives in foreign courts. Furthermore, Robert Mikelsons also teaches courses in tax law and law governing VAT arranged by “Danske Advokater” etc. He is a member of the Tax Affairs Committee within the General Counsel of the Bar, and at the same time he is a representative of the General Counsel of the Danish Bar in liaison committees Skatteforvaltningen (the Danish Customs and Tax Administration).

Rune Tarnø specialises in commercial law and primarily advises small and medium-sized undertakings in Denmark and internationally. For many years, Ulla Fabricius has advised both national and international transport and insurance companies on all aspects within transport, shipping, and insurance. As the author of the annotated book on International Carriage by Road (CMR), Ulla Fabricius is a top specialist within carriage by road. She is involved in all aspects of road transport including disputes on driving and rest time, cabotage and posting of drivers. Ulla Fabricius has great experience in drafting and negotiating complex logistics contracts and transport concepts. In this capacity, Ulla Fabricius participated in the drafting of Incoterms 2010 and UCP 600, and, thus, she has thorough knowledge of risk coverage in international trade.
