Andersen in Italy

In 2021, Andersen established the Comitato Pari Opportunità (Equal Opportunities Committee) with the goal of promoting a culture of inclusivity, aiming to make the firm an inclusive and welcoming workplace - a space where everyone feels free to express their individuality while respecting the firm's ethical principles.
The Equal Opportunities Committee has always sought dialogue on the most relevant topics and has identified the objectives to pursue in the short and medium-long term.

Throughout 2023, the Intersections column continued as part of the monthly internal newsletter, where the Firm explored topics related to equal opportunities and promoted the use of inclusive language through "The Words of Inclusion".

Throughout the same year, Andersen chose to support the opening of the new pizzeria PizzAut in Monza, managed by individuals with autism. PizzAut is the project of Nico Acampora, a father of an autistic child, launched in 2021 with the opening of a pizzeria in Cassina de' Pecchi (Milan province). The restaurant has 25 young individuals working there and features a 222 sqm training kitchen-academy, a living independent gym, and seating for 350 guests. It is a social inclusion lab that has provided, and continues to provide, the opportunity for young people with autism to work, managing the restaurant with the support of professionals in both the restaurant industry and rehabilitation.
Andersen donation adds to those from other major companies that, together with us, are featured on the "Wall of Bricks" in this establishment.
