As counsel in the firm's Corporate/Commercial team Penny Powell has extensive experience in the life sciences, automotive, and technology sectors. Penny advises on a variety of arrangements that go to the core of clients' ongoing business and has particular experience of advising on mergers and acquisitions, complex joint venture, and collaboration arrangements, supply/sourcing/service arrangements, as well as licensing, technology, and development arrangements. She advises clients on transitional service, manufacturing and supply, distribution, promotion, development and clinical trial agreements, and other operational agreements that often accompany transactions. Focusing on the life sciences and automotive sectors gives Penny an in-depth understanding of relevant regulation as well as the practical steps needed to implement it, which can be critical to securing the optimal structural pathway for a transaction.
