With 20 years experience as a lawyer, Bert has joined Fruytier Lawyers in Business as a Partner as of January 1, 2020.
From a company needing advice on developing an idea to securing it in an intellectual property position; these are matters Bert is happy to take on.

Bert represents clients in IP and ICT matters in a variety of commercial positions and conflicts. ICT related European Tenders are part of this.

Career

Bert has been established as an independent lawyer since 2003. Before that, he worked at PwC (now Holland van Gijzen) and Landwell Advocaten (now: van Doorne Advocaten). Before that, he worked as an in-house lawyer at Baan Investments and VNU World Directories.

Bert has been a member of BMM (Benelux Trademark and Design Association) since 2003.

Education

He studied law in Leiden (1987), specialising in company law. Afterwards he specialised in copyright and media law at the University of Amsterdam. Bert later successfully completed the course in IT and Telecommunications Law at the Grotius Academy. Bert can advise on and register trademarks and designs worldwide.
