Beat Gino Koenig

Gino Koenig has more than 30 years of experience in arbitration and litigation, commercial contracts and corporate law. He has acted in more than 80 international and domestic arbitration proceedings as counsel, president, sole arbitrator and party appointed arbitrator under both ad hoc and institutional rules (ICC, Swiss Rules, DIS, VIAC). Dr. Koenig also has extensive experience in corporate law and commercial contracts, in particular in advising clients in the field of infrastructure projects. Since 2006, he is president of the Appeals Chamber of the Swiss Ice Hockey Federation (member since 1998) and responsible for more than 400 decisions. He was president of an ice hockey club from 1996–2013.

Caroline Lutz

As Certified Specialist SBA Employment Law, Caroline Lutz regularly advises on all aspects of Swiss employment law, public employment law and the related fields of law, such as e.g. data protection law, social security law and pension law. Caroline Lutz has in particular extensive experience in drafting and negotiating employment contracts, termination agreements and personnel regulations as well as advising on labour law provisions, whistleblowing, internal investigations, bonus and equity participation schemes, non-competition clauses, terminations of employment, mass dismissals, transfers of undertakings, secondments, assignments, split contracts and personnel lease. She acts as a legal advisor and litigator for Swiss and foreign individuals and entities as well as for communities and public institutions. Caroline Lutz also represents domestic and foreign clients in the field of commercial law.

Christoph Pestalozzi

For the past 25 years the main professional focus of Christoph Pestalozzi has been on domestic and international arbitration. He is active in institutional arbitration and in ad hoc arbitration proceedings. He has handled over 100 arbitration proceedings in Europe and Asia as chairman, co-arbitrator and sole arbitrator and is a member of various national and international arbitration organizations. He also acts as counsel for Swiss and foreign companies, private individuals and foreign states before international arbitration tribunals and national courts, especially in the areas of commercial, contract and insolvency law. In addition, he has vast practical experience with private clients and as a board member in the banking and pharmaceutical sector, and has chaired a major non-profit organization in Zurich for over 30 years until 2020 (pro bono).

Claudius Triebold

For over 20 years Claudius Triebold has been advising and representing companies in the resolution of complex commercial disputes. He regularly represents clients before state courts and the Federal Supreme Court, administrative authorities and arbitral tribunals. He has conducted international arbitrations under the rules of all major arbitration institutions (ICC, Swiss Rules of International Arbitration, AAA, LCIA) as well as in ad hoc proceedings. Claudius has also sat as arbitrator or mediator in numerous international commercial and/or construction arbitrations, and has arbitrated and litigated international disputes in Europe, the Middle East and the U.S. He regularly advises companies with regard to joint ventures and complex contracts related to infrastructure projects. His focus is on disputes in the energy, defense, healthcare, telecommunications, industrial engineering, IT and financial services sectors.

Davide Colacino

Davide Colacino specializes in arbitration and litigation in commercial and business disputes. He has acted as arbitrator, counsel and secretary of arbitral tribunals in numerous institutional (ICC, Swiss Arbitration Centre, CAS and DIFC-LCIA) and ad hoc arbitrations. His practice focuses, in particular, on construction disputes, international commercial law and post-M&A disputes. Moreover, he regularly represents clients in debt enforcement and bankruptcy proceedings, recognition and enforcement proceedings, and setting aside proceedings against arbitral awards before the Swiss Federal Supreme Court. Another focus of his practice is the representation of parties in white-collar criminal proceedings. Davide Colacino is a member of various professional organizations (AIA-ArbIt-40, ASA, ASA below 40, DIS40, ICC YAF, Young ICCA, YConstruction) and the coordinator of the Swiss chapter of AIA-ArbIT-40 (the Italian under 40 Arbitration Group).

Michael Lazopoulos

Michael Lazopoulos advises and represents Swiss and international clients before Swiss courts and arbitral tribunals in a wide range of commercial disputes under all major institutional rules and in ad hoc proceedings. He is regularly appointed as president, sole arbitrator and party-appointed arbitrator. He further represents clients in legal assistance matters and internal investigations as well as enforcement, setting aside and civil attachment proceedings before Swiss cantonal courts and the Swiss Federal Supreme Court. Michel Verde

Michel Verde is specialised in employment and labour law and in criminal law. In addition, he has in-depth knowledge and experience in the areas of liability law and personal / personality rights. In the area of employment and labour law, Michel Verde focuses on litigation and the resolution and prevention of disputes, acting for employers or for employees. Michel Verde has also many years of experience in advising companies, start-ups and multinational corporations as well as public corporations in employment law matters, such as for example the drafting of employment contracts, international employment relationships, terminations, restructurings, sick leaves, conflicts at work or disciplinary measures. Michel Verde is also active as a criminal defence lawyer. His core competence is the defence of employees, managers, board members and self-employed persons in criminal proceedings related to their work and business activities. He also represents companies and individuals who became victims of criminal offences as private plaintiffs in criminal proceedings. Monika McQuillen

Monika McQuillen is specialized in advising and resolving complex commercial and employment disputes as party representative and mediator, as well as in strategic counseling in these areas. She is a Certified Specialist SBA Employment Law and accredited mediator with a focus on the commodities trading, pharma, chemical, med-tech, industrial engineering, aviation and financial services sectors. Monika has a notable track record of representing clients in Cantonal Courts and the Federal Tribunal, of acting as counsel in international arbitrations under the ICC, UNCITRAL and Swiss Rules, and of resolving disputes as a mediator. As a specialist in the fields of individual and collective employment, commercial as well as data protection law, Monika regularly works in a cross-border environment. She is known for her strategic and hands-on advice, assisting clients in the resolution of difficult situations, for example in relation to equity participation schemes, bonus and discrimination issues, restructurings and collective dismissals, as well as transfers of undertakings.

Nikola Bellofatto

Nikola Bellofatto advises and represents domestic and foreign companies and individuals in commercial and corporate disputes in Swiss courts. His advice and representation cover the full range of corporate and employment law including white collar crime and international legal assistance. A long-standing expertise as member of different educational boards (primary/secondary school and gymnasium, private and public) completes his practice.

Patricia C. Reichmuth

Patricia C. Reichmuth’s practice focuses on dispute resolution in complex state court and arbitral proceedings and advising on commercial, contract and employment matters. She advises and represents domestic and foreign companies and individuals. Before joining Lustenberger + Partners, Patricia C. Reichmuth worked as an associate with an internationally oriented law firm, as a research and teaching assistant at the University of Zurich and as an associate and notary at a midsized law firm.

Peter Jüstel

Peter Jüstel has extensive experience as counsel to Swiss and foreign companies for a broad range of commercial and financial markets issues. He represents parties before courts and regulatory authorities including in relation to FINMA enforcement and other proceedings, and advises on anti-money laundering (AML), cryptocurrencies and blockchain, investments funds and collective investment schemes. Peter Jüstel focuses on the financial market and banking sector and is a Board Member and the Secretary of the Switzerland Chapter of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
