Dr. Kadir Baş is the head of our practices in competition, intellectual property and digital services.

Dr. Kadir Baş is a founding partner at LBF Partners and an Associate Professor of Commercial Law at Marmara University, School of Law, where he has been a lecturer since 2014.

Dr. Kadir Baş is an expert in competition law, intellectual property law, digital services, and company law. He authored the book The Substantive Appraisal of Joint Ventures under the EU Merger Control Regime (Kluwer Law International, 2014) and has published numerous articles in prestigious competition law journals, such as World Competition and the Journal of European Competition Law & Practice. Dr. Baş is also a sought-after speaker and lecturer, widely recognized for his expertise in these fields of law.

He advises both domestic and international clients across various sectors particularly on the following legal matters:

- Competition law: Anticompetitive agreements, abuse of dominance, merger control and digtial markets regulations - Intellectual Property: Trademark, design, patent, and copyright matters - Digital Services: Electronic commerce, data protection, and privacy - Corporate Transactions: Mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures - Commercial Agreements: Licensing, dealership, franchise, and agency agreements - Incentive Programs: Employee stock ownership/option plans and other incentive structures.
