With over a decade of experience, she has built a significant track record advising financial institutions, listed companies, and private equity investors on complex, high-value transactions across multiple jurisdictions. She advises in a broad range of sectors, handling domestic and cross-border mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, equity investments, and divestitures. In addition to her transactional work, Elif also provides strategic counsel on general corporate matters, banking, finance, and capital markets transactions. Elif advises clients on successfully navigating and operating within heavily regulated industries.

Mehmet Suat Kayıkçı

Mehmet Suat Kayıkçı leads our practices in energy, dispute resolution, ESG, and administrative law. In 2002, Mr. Kayıkçı began his career as an environmental specialist at the Turkish Ministry of Environment. In 2004, he transitioned to the Energy Market Regulatory Authority of Turkey (EMRA) as an associate energy specialist, where he served for ten years until joining LBF Partners in 2014. With over twenty years of experience in the energy sector, Mr. Kayıkçı provides expert legal guidance to both local and international clients on all aspects of energy matters, including complex transactions and regulatory permits and approvals. He is also an expert in mining law and environmental regulations.

Nusret Çetin

Nusret is the managing partner and head of the Banking & Finance and Capital Markets practice at LBF Partners. He has a substantial reputation and track record as financial lawyer with experience over 20 years. Drawing upon his in-depth knowledge of financial regulations, he advises a variety of financial institutions and listed companies on a wide range of regulatory matters. Throughout his career, Nusret has collaborated closely with a diverse clientele of listed companies and financial institutions, providing strategic legal counsel that addresses their specific needs in transactions. He particularly has an in-depth knowledge of working with regulators, having previously been a senior lawyer in the Capital Markets Authority of Turkiye. Nusret diligently served as both a legal counsel and senior legal counsel at Capital Markets Authority of Turkiye for over twelve years.
