Position

Jorge Muratorio, is the Partner in charge of Public Law and Economic Regulation Department at O´Farrell.

His practice focuses on constitutional, administrative and environmental law, urban planning regulations, consumer protection law and antitrust.

Career

He joined Estudio O’Farrell in 1998 and was appointed partner in July, 2005. He has in-depth knowledge of public utilities (transport, gas, energy, tolls, concessions), public work, infrastructure and all phases of public contracts. He gives legal advice to foreign and national companies. He also has experience in litigation, both in the promotion of all kinds of administrative reviews and claims against the state, in federal and local jurisdictions, covering different topics of public law and economic regulation. He participated in consultancies, especially in matters related to public contracts with clients such as the European Union.

Education

He graduated in 1990 from Universidad de Buenos Aires with a lawyer’s degree, is Magister in Administrative Law –first class, 1992- from Universidad Austral, and is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Ibero-American Administrative Law at the Universidad A Coruña. Mr. Muratorio teaches Administrative Law at Universidad Católica Argentina and is a professor in more than a dozen graduate courses in matters related to administrative law in numerous universities. Speaker in national and international conferences.
