Soffía´s expertise is in the area of both tax and legal services, mainly M&A tax, domestic tax compliance, indirect taxes, real estate transactions and administrative law. Her client group consists mainly of real estate and retail companies, government, municipalities and fintech and financial companies.​

Soffía has managed several very large legal and tax due diligence projects in various sectors, i.e. energy and industry, real estate and retail, IT, financial services and telecommunications. She has also experience in field of banking and liquidation procedures as well as restructuring projects for the Icelandic government.
