Diversity

AGA Partners conducts its activity based on the principles of social responsibility and makes a significant contribution to the development of the Ukrainian economy and society as a whole.

Our company dedicates a significant amount of time to pro bono projects, successfully advising and representing interests of public organizations, socially unprotected people, refuges, and sportsmen in court. Among the biggest ones are:

  • pro bono social project “Legal Aid to sport in Ukraine”, developing an on-line platform enabling each sportsman to request free legal aid in one click, which AGA Partners jointly with Ukrainian Bar Association initiated.
  • defending the rights of a mother of 7 children, who suffered over 17 years from domestic violence perpetrated by her husband and preparing a restraining order application to protect her from her husband.
  • assisting the couple from the USA to adopt a child from a dysfunctional family, who suffered from domestic violence, and take her to the USA.

AGA Partners also offers work placements for students without a university degree and helps them start a lawyer career. Moreover, our associates provide help with coaching several Ukrainian universities’ teams in the world-famous competition on international commercial arbitration - Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration.

Our Managing Partner Aminat Suleymanova is actively involved in the development of women’s leadership in Ukraine, and currently, we are developing a new program of gender equality in our firm, as well as throughout the legal market of Ukraine.

Ms. Suleymanova is also a frequent guest on Ukraine’s premier TV stations as an expert in the field of law. Her incisive commentary on different legal issues is similarly sought by well-known Ukrainian newspapers and magazines.
