Diversity

KPMG Mexico has an Inclusion, Diversity and Equity (IDE) Policy which considers labor equality and non-discrimination, as well as explicitly states the prohibition of abuse, violence and segregation of the workplace authorities towards the staff and among the staff in matters of: physical appearance, culture, disability, language, sex, gender, age, social, financial, health or legal status, pregnancy, marital status, religion, opinions, ethnic or national origin, sexual orientation, gender expression and identity and/or immigration status.

Additionally, our firm has an Inclusion, Diversity and Equity Committee who evaluates and boosts IDE initiatives and policies to ensure a more inclusive business future. Aligned with this, the firm focuses its efforts on three groups that have been historically disadvantaged: women, people with disabilities and LGBT+ community, seeking equity, equality, and labor inclusion for them within and outside the Firm. Also, the Firm has established three core strategies: We build a respectful environment, we create equal opportunities, and we condemn any bullying, discriminating, harassing or violent conduct.

The Firm has got the certification in the Mexican Standard NMX-R-025-SCFI-2015 on Labour Equality and Non-Discrimination; has received the Éntrale distinction, which recognizes efforts towards the inclusion of people with disabilities, and has been awarded with the Equidad MX award, by Human Rights Campaign, for being one of the best workplaces for the LGBT+ community.

KPMG Mexico is part of the Great Agreement for Equal Treatment from COPRED in Mexico City and has adhered to the Decalogue for the Construction of Workplaces Free of Harassment and Sexual Harassment, as well as the Business Agreement Against Racism in Work and Professional Environments.
