Amal  AlBastaki
Partner Amal has graduated with a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Jordan in 2002, Amal specializes in Commercial, Banking and Corporate litigation before the UAE Courts. She was admitted before all courts of the UAE and has significant experience in the legal departments of several banks in the UAE since 2003. Her areas of expertise also include Intellectual Property, Real Estate and Arbitration.

Elhassan Abdelrazek
Elhassan boasts over 16 years of expansive expertise across multiple Middle Eastern jurisdictions, including the UAE, Kuwait, and Egypt. His focus lies in specialized areas such as banking and finance, commercial transactions, corporate law, and commercial matters. He earned his BA in Law from Cairo University's Faculty of Law (English Department) and furthered his legal acumen with an LLM degree from the Indiana University School of Law, specializing in International and Comparative Law. As a key contributor within teams, Elhassan played an integral role in orchestrating numerous pivotal banking and finance transactions for SHUAA Capital PSC in both the UAE and the broader GCC region. His career spanned over a decade within prominent private practice firms in the region, where he represented major GCC and international clients. Notable among these were institutions such as National Bank of Kuwait, JP Morgan, Warba Bank, Emirates NBD, Buobyan Bank, Commercial Bank of Kuwait, Gulf Bank, Kuwait National Petroleum Company, Kharafi National, and Rasameel Structured Finance, engaging in high-profile transactions. Evelina  Gurtskaya
Associate - Dispute Resolution Evelina Gurtskaya is an Associate in the Dispute Resolution team at NHB Legal. She has experience representing high-net-worth individuals and multinational corporations in complex, high-value disputes. Evelina received her legal training and qualification in London, UK, where she gained valuable experience working with clients across various sectors and industries. She has a strong understanding of her clients' interests and how businesses operate. Prior to joining NHB Legal, she worked at a top 100 law firm in the UK, where she handled national and international corporate transactions, including venture capital and mergers and acquisitions. Evelina has extensive international experience and is fluent in both English and Russian. She brings a unique perspective and cultural understanding to her work at NHB Legal.
Ibrahim  Salaheldin
Associate – Dispute Resolution & Advisory Ibrahim is a highly-regarded associate with extensive experience aiming to propose optimal legal strategies with regard to client objectives, and best interests. His practice focuses on handling Civil, Labor, and Commercial disputes before the local courts across the UAE. His practice areas include compliance, procurement, human resources, and risk management. Ibrahim was involved in the first Social Impact Contracting (SIC) Project in the Gulf Cooperation Countries implemented in Abu Dhabi in 2020. While working on this project Ibrahim drafted a set of unique legal documents in relation to governance which were the foundation stone of the legal framework for the Social Impact Contracting system and its future projects within the private and public sectors in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and UAE.

Mohamed  El Sherbiny
Senior Associate –Dispute Resolution Mohamed is one of the leading members of our arbitration and DIFC Courts litigation team. His practice focuses on arbitration in multiple practice areas including representing state-owned enterprises in complex anti-dumping disputes, acting as counsel in ICSID claims between foreign corporations and governments, advising international corporations such as Nokia in relation to regulatory matters as well as acting for a major airline in relation to the recovery of assets. Mohamed has a dynamic approach to handling disputes backed with immense practical knowledge. In addition to his background in civil law, he holds a master's degree in Common Law & Comparative from the Paris Descartes University (Paris V) which provides him with a unique edge in the two universally predominant legal systems. He is fluent in Arabic, English, and French.
