Dr Karl Ömer Rösch founded ARKTIK Legal together with Dr Nikolaos Tsolakidis and Dr Björn Kruse at the beginning of 2022. His main areas of expertise are national and international litigation and arbitration, with particular expertise in the areas of technology, social media and the internet, as well as insurance and reinsurance. He also has expertise in international investment arbitration and international sports arbitration. He regularly represents companies in international investment, commercial and sports arbitration proceedings, including those under the rules of ICC, DIS, UNCITRAL, ICSID, SCC and CAS. He is very well connected in the Berlin start-up scene and is a sought-after advisor to founders.

Prior to co-founding ARKTIK Legal, Dr Rösch worked for some of the world’s most prestigious international law firms such as White & Case LLP and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP.

Dr Karl Ömer Rösch graduated from the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University Frankfurt and worked as a visiting researcher and lecturer at the Uppsala University (Sweden). He completed his legal clerkship with the Higher Regional Court of Berlin. Dr Karl Ömer Rösch holds a Diplôme Universitaire de Droit Français with the Université Lumière Lyon II (France) and a PhD (summa cum laude) with the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University Frankfurt.
