Debt and asset recovery/lender services: Aberdein Considine’s unique, cross-jurisdiction lender services practice group provides tailored asset management, conveyancing, debt recovery and finance litigation services to the majority of the UK’s biggest banks and financial services organisations. Through sister companies, the firm also provides sheriff officers and messengers at arms, field agents and property contracting services to offer a truly end-to-end, one-stop service to lenders. Litigation and dispute resolution: Our dispute resolution department is spread across four cities – Newcastle, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen. Residential property: We are Scotland’s largest solicitor estate agent, with offices across the country offering the full range of estate agency,  and conveyancing services.

Employment law : Our employment department represents both claimants and respondents in contentious employment situations and advises all sizes of business on non-contentious matters. With support from the firm’s employee benefits and pensions department, lawyers work with HR teams and in-house legal departments across a number of businesses, offering specialist advice in employment tribunal litigation, contract, mediation and alternative dispute resolution.

Family law: Our family law department is dedicated to providing a sensitive, effective and efficient service to secure the best outcomes for clients. Practice areas include separation, divorce, cohabitation, prenuptial agreements, civil partnership, child law and adoption. The department offers collaborative family law, and has multiple partners who are Law Society of Scotland-accredited family law mediators.

Private client: The firm’s highly respected private client team works across multiple disciplines, including personal financial planning, criminal defence, equine law, asset protection, wills, trusts, executries and estate planning. We also offer niche support to elderly and vulnerable clients.
