Paul specialises in complex and high value clinical negligence claims on behalf of injured patients. He is well known, nationally, for his empathy for his clients combined with a keen eye for detail.

Paul’s experience informed his extensive contribution to legal aid reforms. Working with both houses of Parliament, Paul received nationwide recognition for his efforts and success in retaining legal aid for severely disabled children injured at birth. As immediate-past Chairman of the Society of Clinical Injury Lawyers (SCIL) he is regularly approached for comment on local and national radio, television, and national newspapers, and has written several specialist articles on the subject of legal aid reform.
