e3 employment law LLP is a new breed of boutique law firm created in response to the modern commercial environment. The firm focuses exclusively on employment law and industrial relations issues.

The firm: e3 has a unique team of talented employment partners, who have moved out of large international law firms and who now provide exactly the same quality of advice and support, but through a more streamlined and efficient law firm, e3. This means that e3 delivers the highest levels of expertise but from within a more efficient model to produce greater value for clients. The firm’s efficiency means that e3 can and does provide a more dedicated and tailored service to clients. It does this by spending time with a client, understanding the business, exploring the legal and practical issues with the client, and listening to what the business wants to achieve. Each one of e3’s partners has been independently recognised as a leading expert in employment law for many years. Each one has decades of practical experience to draw upon.

Rather than a name which focuses on founder members, e3’s name deliberately focuses on the firm’s service delivery. The name e3 operates as a living reminder to every individual within the firm and as a continuous commitment to every client that e3 will deliver legal support that is effective, efficient and economic (the eponymous three e’s) as follows:

Types of work undertaken
Employment law: the full range of employment law services are provided, both contentious and non-contentious.

Examples include: preparing effective contractual documentation, including service agreements, contracts, handbooks, policies and procedures that support the business’ culture and its aims; addressing and resolving grievance and disciplinary issues; handling discrimination issues both sensitively and effectively; preparing for and handling sensitive/complex terminations; resolving executive disputes; handling litigation (both Tribunal and Civil Court claims) to maximise results and minimise disruption to the business; all aspects of trade union issues, including recognition requests, managing and reshaping industrial relations, and managing industrial disputes; Works Council and European Works Council; business restructures and change management; protecting the business from current and former employees, including drafting and enforcing restrictive covenants and advising on team recruitment; and business transfers including outsourcing.
