Employee Share Schemes and Incentives

Tom is a Managing Associate who advises on the legal, regulatory and tax aspects of implementing and operating incentive plans for executives and employees in the UK and around the world.

Key Experience

• • Advising large listed companies on executive and all-employee share plans.

• • Set up and ongoing operation of employee benefit trusts.

• • Advising on the impact of corporate transactions on global employee share plans.

• • Commercial and pragmatic approach supported by deep technical and market knowledge.

• • Working closely with counsel in multiple jurisdictions, co-ordinating corporate, tax, employment and trust advice, as required, to ensure clients receive joined-up advisory and transactional advice.

• • Drafting plan rules, award documentation, and governance materials.

Tom frequently presents at GEO conferences and is fundamental to our global webinar programme, regularly presenting on technical and market updates.

Tom also teaches on Tapestry’s Certificate in Employee Share Plans Course, as well as ProShare’s Introduction to Employee Share Ownership course.
