Alex is partner in the Mourant international Cayman practice, Global Practice Leader for its Investment Funds team, and Managing Partner of the Mourant London office.

Alex focuses on all aspects of fund formation and frequently advises many of the world's leading private fund sponsors on the structuring and establishment of investment funds, secondary transactions and related deals. I also have extensive experience on regulatory, corporate and fund finance matters.

Before relocating to London from the Cayman Islands, Alex led the Mourant investment funds practice in Hong Kong.

Prior to moving offshore and subsequently joining Mourant, Alex worked at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in London.

Attorney in the Cayman Islands Barrister of the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court (British Virgin Islands) Called to the Bar of England and Wales as a Diplock Scholar, 1998 (currently non-practising)
