James Hoggett is a Fund Finance partner in the firm’s London office. James is a fund finance specialist with many years’ experience advising lenders and GPs on the full range of lending products, including large syndicated subscription facilities, NAV and hybrid facilities, as well as GP support and co-invest structures. John Savage KC

John Savage KC is a partner in the firm's London office, specializing in international arbitration. John has represented clients in approximately 200 arbitrations around the world in 30 years of practice. He has particular expertise in complex, high-stakes corporate, investment and projects disputes, with an emphasis on the oil and gas, mining and power sectors. John has been lauded in the directories as "a tremendously effective advocate" with "real global stature in arbitration." John was previously a vice president of the SIAC Court of Arbitration and a Director of the SIAC. John has worked for high-profile clients including Chevron, ConocoPhillips, Dow Chemical, GE, Samsung C&T and Shell, and his recent successes for clients include some of the largest awards handed down in international arbitration. He also has substantial experience in mediation. Mr. Savage KC is a King's Counsel in England, was admitted as a member of the Paris bar in 1997 and was one of the first foreign lawyers to gain rights of audience at the Singapore International Commercial Court. John spent 12 years in Singapore establishing himself as one of the leading arbitration lawyers in Asia, and has also practiced arbitration in Paris and Washington DC. John studied law and was admitted to practice in England and France and is equally comfortable in common and civil law environments.

He has more than 20 years experience representing governments, corporations and high-net-worth individuals in over 140 international arbitrations. These include many corporate, construction, energy and investment treaty disputes, with an emphasis on the oil & gas and power sectors. Mr. Savage’s cases have involved a variety of applicable laws, venues, rules and subject matters.

Martina Antosova

Martina Antosova is a construction lawyer, focusing on the management and resolution of complex construction and engineering disputes. She also assists clients with drafting and negotiation of contracts for major construction projects. Mathan Navaratnam

Nathan Parker

Nathan Parker is a Fund Finance partner in the firm’s London office. With over a decade of experience, Parker has advised on a broad range of financing transactions. His practice focuses on acting for financial institutions and private market managers across a full range of fund finance products, including subscription facilities, NAV and hybrid products and GP and co-invest facilities. Mr. Parker also has extensive experience advising private sponsors in leveraged buyout and high yield offerings, and direct lenders in the special situations space.

Peter Schwartz is a high-yield capital markets partner in the firm's London office and a member of the Corporate team. Peter advises on high-yield debt offerings, primary and secondary equity offerings, restructurings, acquisition financings and general compliance issues for European and North American clients seeking securities law advice. Ruth Byrne KC

Ruth Byrne KC specialises in international commercial and investment disputes, with a particular focus on energy, life sciences, fraud and enforcement. Ruth has advised clients on disputes arising in multiple jurisdictions and has appeared as counsel in 100+ arbitrations as well sitting regularly as arbitrator. Samantha Hutchinson

Samantha is a Fund Finance partner and leads the Fund Finance team based in the firm’s London office. With over 20 years of experience in the fund finance market, Samantha represents financial institutions, private market and other asset managers across all fund finance products, including subscription lines, primary and secondary leverage and liquidity lines, GP and executive financings, co-investment facilities and various distribution solutions across all asset classes.

Sarah Walker

Sarah Walker specialises in dispute evaluation and resolution by litigation, arbitration, mediation and negotiation. A partner in the International Disputes practice based in the firm's London office, Sarah represents international clients in a wide variety of commercial matters. Sarah has handled high-stakes complex disputes via arbitration, litigation and mediation for circa 30 years and her clients include sovereign states, financial institutions, corporates and high net-worth individuals. She is particularly noted for her subject matter expertise across large-scale project disputes, asset recovery and enforcement and civil fraud. Ms. Walker was Training Principal for the firm’s London Trainee Programme, served on the firm’s Associate Evaluation Committee for over 10 years and currently serves as a member of the firm’s Policy Committee. She spent time during her career in the legal function of a major financial institution, is a frequent author on dispute resolution and speaker at conferences on international disputes. Sarah spends time in all of the firm’s Middle East offices and works extensively with clients from the region.

Shareena Edmonds

Shareena Edmonds is a construction lawyer, focusing on international arbitration and the resolution of disputes arising out of major international energy and infrastructure projects. She is Deputy Head of the firm's Global Construction and Engineering Disputes practice. Shareena has represented owners and contractors in disputes concerning some of the most complex, high value projects around the world. Shareena has acted as counsel in international arbitrations under most of the major arbitral rules (including ICC, LCIA, UNCITRAL, LMAA). As well as representing clients throughout the dispute resolution process, Ms. Edmonds provides strategic advice and acts as project counsel, assisting clients to manage, and minimise, risk on claims and disputes during project execution.

Simon Maynard

Simon Maynard combines strategic acumen with tenacious advocacy to resolve complex commercial disputes in a way that maximizes commercial impact. Simon has particular expertise in international commercial and investment treaty arbitration, as well as before the English courts, in disputes concerning upstream oil and gas, renewables and the energy transition, mining, aerospace and defence, and hospitality.
