Jonathan is a partner in our finance group and UK head of Debt Capital Markets and Structured Finance. He handles a broad range of domestic and international transactions, including listed bond offerings (investment grade and high yield), private placements (including US PPs), regulatory capital offerings, convertible bonds and liability management exercises, as well as public and private securitisations, warehouse lending facilities and structured lending platforms. Jonathan is experienced in advising all market participants, from issuers and originators, investment banks and financial advisory firms, to corporate trustees and investors. He also advises sellers and purchasers on debt-related aspects of M&A and venture capital transactions. Jonathan, who holds a degree in Environmental Biology, is closely involved with our ESG initiatives and developing our sustainable finance practice. Jonathan’s sector experience spans financial institutions, retail, real estate, renewable energy and automotive. He also has extensive emerging markets experience and regularly works with colleagues across our global network on cross-border transactions, including acting alongside our US securities law team on debt offerings into the United States.
