Career

Jaime Heredia Tamayo has been a partner in Rodríguez Angobaldo Abogados since 2018.

Specializing in Civil Procedure Law, Constitutional Procedure Law, and Contentious-Administrative and Arbitration Proceedings, Jaime Heredia Tamayo is a seasoned litigator with a strong background in conducting judicial and arbitration cases and complex administrative disputes. He handles mostly cases involving regulatory matters, taxes, and sanctions, and high-stake civil, corporate and infrastructure controversies.

He has unrivalled experience in the constitutional defence of oil companies in sensitive cases involving constitutional rights, diffuse interests, environmental rights, right to prior consultation, and rights of uncontacted peoples. He also has hands-on experience in matters related to free competition.

Jaime Heredia Tamayo is frequently invited to lecture on arbitration matters at major ADR conferences.
