Senior Associate

Denitsa is a Senior Associate in the CMS Sofia Energy, Projects and Construction practice group. She is experienced in the oil and gas sector advising some of the major international companies doing such business in Bulgaria. As a member of the core energy team, she has assisted in the largest offshore upstream oil & gas exploration investments and concessions projects in Bulgaria.

Her work includes assisting clients during: license tender procedures; negotiations with the governmental authorities; ongoing legal support during prospecting and exploration works/concessions; license transfers; concessions extensions; possible disputes arising out of concession matters; farm in and farm out procedures.

Denitsa advises clients on various regulatory and commercial matters related to renewables and stemming out of the concessions.

Denitsa has completed a secondment at a major regional producer of industrial materials, where she acted as the company's General Legal Counsel for 12 months. She is currently seconded to a major energy company.
