Counsel

Magdalena Zmysłowska is a qualified Polish advocate and a Counsel in the Corporate/M&A practice at CMS. She holds an academic degree of Ph.D. in law. She focuses on commercial and securities law, merger and acquisition transactions as well as corporate governance issues. Magdalena has participated in a number of M&A and capital market transactions where she advised clients from various sectors on planned initial public offerings, acquisitions of shares and enterprises, bond issues and disclosure obligations. She is also an author of publications on various capital markets law aspects. Her Ph.D. thesis on "Renouncement of the status of a listed company versus protection of the interests of minority shareholders" has been awarded by the Warsaw Stock Exchange in the fifth edition of the competition for the best Ph.D. thesis regarding capital markets. Before joining CMS in 2018, Magdalena worked in leading international law firms in Warsaw.
