Cristina Popescu is a Partner in the CMS Bucharest team specialising in regulatory and compliance work in Romania. She has a broad transactional and advisory background working with multinational companies across a wide range of industry sectors – with a particular focus on regulated industries such as Insurance, Technology and Communications, and Lifesciences – on a variety of regulatory, compliance and commercial contract work in Romania.

Her practice includes data protection and intellectual property, anti-bribery and corruption, employment and public procurement, as well as general commercial and contract advice. Cristina regularly works on cross-jurisdictional matters (including compliance programmes and training) with CMS lawyers across CEE, Europe and beyond.

Cristina is a member of the CMS pan-European Insurance Industry Sector Working Group and a registered trademarks attorney with Romanian Office for Inventions and Trademarks (OSIM).
