Megan Latschrauner
I qualified into the Public Family Law team at Crane & Staples in September 2024, following a two year period of training with the firm.
I specialise in Public Family Matters, Children Law and Domestic Abuse matters including:
Appearing as a Court Advocate in front of Circuit, District and Magistrates Justice for both Public Law hearings and private law Children Act proceedings, including Child Arrangement Orders and Prohibited Steps Orders.
Assisting victims of domestic abuse and then advocating in a Court room in their applications for a Non- Molestation Order.
Representing parents in care proceedings, covering a broad range of allegations including drug and alcohol misuse, domestic abuse, neglect, and significant mental health concerns.
I take a pragmatic, but client-focussed approach to my cases, assisting clients through sensitive situations to try and achieve the best outcome available.
I volunteer at a local refuge, assisting the women with a variety of Children Act matters.
