Barrister:  Adam has experience dealing with all aspects of commercial and private landlord and tenant work, all aspects of real property disputes, cases involving mortgages or other charges, trusts and trusts of land. Barrister: Alex practises in a wide range of commercial and chancery work including banking and finance, civil fraud and insolvency. Prior to coming to the Bar, Alex spent several years working in-house for Lloyds Bank. He acts for a range of major lending companies, and is regularly instructed by in-house legal teams. Antonia is an extremely able and dedicated advocate who has a strong practice in property litigation. Barrister:  Antonio Bueno`s principal areas of practice, in which he is widely experienced, are in the fields of domestic and international banking (guarantees, cheques and negotiable instruments, banker/customer relationships, letters of credit, performance bonds etc.), and of general commercial law, with particular emphasis on international trade, finance (including hire purchase and commercial leasing), contract disputes. insolvency and commercial fraud (including pre-emptive remedies, asset tracing and restitutionary claims).His practice is broadly based and he has also acted on a wide variety of other matters, including professional negligence, company winding-up and receivership, the issue of letters of request/overseas confidentiality laws and, most recently, asbestos-related industrial injury (acting for British Shipbuilders). He has represented, and acted against, many major UK and overseas banks, and commercial institutions. Whilst his principal place of practice is in England he has worked extensively in other jurisdictions, including the Cayman Islands, Turks and Caicos Islands, Bahamas, Spain, Gibraltar, Tonga, Hong Kong, Singapore, USA, Sri Lanka, Channel Islands, Ireland and Australia. He has been admitted to local Bars in several of these jurisdictions, either permanently or for particular matters. He has been specially admitted on many occasions in the Cayman Islands for particular matters. In commercial arbitration, his experience, as an arbitrator and as an advocate, has included banking, general commercial and construction disputes. He was also a member of a Football Association arbitral tribunal concerned with a dispute between a professional footballer and his agent. He is a member of the LCIA, and is on the roster of international arbitrators of ADR Chambers. He is currently instructed (2015) in a matter before the Supreme Court, IEGL -v- Zurich which concerns a dispute valued at approximately £10 billion to the UK insurance industry. He is also a qualified Mediator.  

Barrister: Since joining Chambers in May 2018, Ben has developed a busy practice across a broad range of civil and commercial work, with a particular focus on property and commercial law. Ben accepts instructions for advice, drafting and advocacy at all stages of the litigation process. Ben has extensive courtroom experience and has attended over three thousand hearings across a wide range of civil litigation. Before embarking on his legal career, Ben co-founded an award-winning start-up company in Switzerland. Barrister: Cheryl specialises in property and commercial litigation. She regularly appears in the High court, County Courts and Tribunals all over the country. Barrister: Chris Pearson is a specialist in intellectual property, media and entertainment law. Barrister: Educated in Scotland and at Gonville & Caius College, Cambridge, Clive Blackwood was called to the Bar by the Inner Temple in 1986 and qualified as a mediator in 2006. Barrister:David has vast experience in all the fields of civil law set out above. Has appeared in all levels of Court and Tribunals including the Court of Appeal (both in the UK and Gibraltar), the Privy Council and the House of Lords. In property matters he acts regularly for both commercial landlords and tenants. He acts both for and against large commercial lenders in mortgage matters. He has regularly dealt with all areas of company law including insolvency, disqualification, directors’ duties and minority shareholder actions. Barrister: David maintains a broad practice across chambers’ practice areas.  He is noted for a strongly collaborative approach to those who instruct him and a no-nonsense, practical approach to both strategic and tactical issues arising from litigation.David has considerable experience in costs matters at all levels, including appeals, and has regularly appeared for both paying and receiving parties. Barrister: Derek has a wealth of experience in all aspects of property law.  He represents individuals, corporate landlords and tenants, developers, LPA receivers, surveyors, housing associations and financial institutions. His work includes claims about adverse possession of land, boundaries and party walls, the co-ownership of land (including land outside England and Wales), the construction and forfeiture of leases, conveyancing practice, disrepair, easements, freehold restrictive covenants, guarantees, land registration and rectification claims, mortgages and securities, options, service charges and trusts of land.  He has undertaken a number of land registration disputes where the transaction has been tainted by fraud. Barrister: Dominic has a broad commercial, property and personal injury practice.  He is registered with the Civil Mediation Council as a Civil and Commercial Mediator.  Dominic has also written articles, and attended seminars on construction and international law: areas in which he would like to gain practical experience. His forthcoming book, ‘A Practical Guide to the Small Claims Track’ is set for publication with Law Brief Publishing in November 2019.  It is a clear, comprehensive, but concise guide for junior barristers and solicitors to succeeding on the small claims track. Prior to pupillage, Dominic was judicial assistant in the Court of Appeal to Sir Brian Leveson, the former President of the Queen’s Bench Division.  He was also researcher in construction law at a leading set of barristers’ chambers, public international law at the British Institute of International and Comparative Law, and national implementation measures (nuclear disarmament, non-proliferation, development and use of chemical weaponry) at the Verification Research, Training and Information Centre.

Barrister:  Barbara came to the Bar after a career as a university lecturer in the United States. Barbara specialises in property and employment law. She has a substantial landlord and tenant and housing law practice, appearing for both social landlords and tenants and practises in all aspects of employment and discrimination law. Barrister: Emily’s practice divides between personal injury and property work. She undertakes work in all aspects of personal Injury work for both Claimants and Defendants. Her property practice covers a full range of work with a particular focus on residential property and disputes as to beneficial interests in property and other interests in land. Barrister: Erol is a specialist in property and commercial litigation and dispute resolution. He has extensive experience in all aspects of residential and commercial property and commercial law. Harriet joined Lamb Chambers in May 2021 after commencing her practice at a set focused on commercial and aviation work based in the Temple. Harriet’s practice entails a broad range of areas of law, including General Commercial, Aviation & Travel, Property, and Personal Injury. Harriet has an extensive experience appearing in the County Court for small claims and fast-track trials, as well as dealing with applications, CMCs, and costs budgeting for larger cases. Harriet has been instructed in civil forfeiture matters resisting applications for frozen monies in excess of £1million, in which Harriet defended against the claim that the sums had been obtained via fraud by false representation, pursuant to the Fraud Act 2006. Harriet has assisted more senior members, including conducting legal research and drafting witness statements as well as written submissions for a third-party in a confiscation POCA matter, in order to determine the extent of the defendant’s interest in the property. Barrister: Matthew joined Lamb Chambers in June 2018 after starting his practice at a commercial set in the Temple. Barrister: Napier is a specialist personal injury practitioner and listed as a leading personal injury junior in Legal 500 (3rd tier). With Legal 500 2018 stating, “Napier’s areas of expertise include road traffic accidents and industrial disease claims, particurlarly those involving asbestos/mesothelioma.” His practice is equally split between claimant and defendant work. Barrister: Natalia is a Russian-speaking English barrister and Head of International Dispute Resolution Group at Lamb Chambers. Natalia deals with international and cross-border disputes involving international trade, financing and enforcement. Natalia’s particular interests include international commercial litigation, international arbitration and mediation related to commercial contracts, sale and carriage of goods, trading, banking, investments and private international law. Additional practice areas include public international law, cross-border insolvency, international civil fraud and enforcement, company and shareholder disputes, trusts, asset-tracing and recovery. Natalia is often instructed to deal with disputes related to questions of jurisdiction and conflict of laws, applications to serve out of jurisdiction, loan agreements and banking matters, contract disputes, and bankruptcy or insolvency matters. Natalia’s experience at the Bar in dealing with international cases and appearing in higher courts in her own right is complemented by her extensive academic experience. Having completed two PhDs in law, one in the UK and one in Russia, prior to joining the Bar, Natalia was a university lecturer. Richard has a wide practice comprising of commercial, property and costs.  He has appeared at all levels including the Supreme Court, the Court of Appeal and the High Court.  He regularly appears in the Senior Courts Costs Office. He represented the successful Appellant, Patricia Jones, in Jones -v- Kernott [2011] UKSC 53 in the Supreme Court having also represented her in the county court, the High Court and the Court of Appeal. Simon is a well established practitioner in a range of real property and landlord and tenant matters. He specialises in litigation and related advisory work, and undertakes both commercial and residential cases. He has considerable experience of both oral and written advocacy. He sits as a specialist tribunal judge dealing with both land registration and residential property disputes.

Barrister: William Skjøtt is experienced in all aspects of commercial and chancery disputes, with particular expertise in trusts and insolvency. William read International Relations and Modern History at St Andrew’s University and completed his Masters in Modern History in 2007. He won the Inner Temple Inter-Varsity Moot in 2013 and convened the Magna Carta Moot in 2014 & 2015.

Barrister: Winston specialises in property, commercial and insolvency litigation. He provides advice, drafting and advocacy to clients across these specialisms. He has appeared as sole counsel at all levels up to the Court of Appeal and has drafted a notice of objection to permission to appeal in the Supreme Court. He regularly appears in the High Court, the County Court, the First-tier Tribunal and the Upper Tribunal in petitions, applications and trials. He appeared in the Court of Appeal for the successful Appellant in Elim Court RTM Co Ltd v Avon Freeholds Ltd [2017] H.L.R. 18; [2017] EWCA Civ 89. He has particular experience of commercial debt recovery, personal insolvency, mortgage disputes and landlord and tenant. Winston represents the Bar Standards Board before the Bar Disciplinary Tribunal and the Interim Suspension Panel. He has also taken part in the Chancery Bar’s pro bono CLIPS scheme to assist litigants in person in the High Court. He has provided insolvency training to the internal lawyers at the Bar Standards Board. He has provided lectures on various topics to solicitors, corporate lay clients and the judiciary. Winston was appointed a Deputy District Judge on the South Eastern Circuit in May 2020.
