Jonathan came to the Bar in 1992 having originally worked as a merchant banker in the City of London. He now specialises almost exclusively in clinical negligence work as his repeated recommendations in the Legal 500 attest. His expertise covers the whole breadth of clinical negligence work from orthopaedic injury to cancer misdiagnosis and cerebral palsy birth injury. Following call to the Bar in July 2003 by the Honourable Society of the Inner Temple, Julie commenced her career in Crime and Prison Law, representing defendants within the Magistrates court and prisoners at parole hearings and in appealing life sentence tariffs. In the public law field, Lewis has experience of cases involving fatalities, serious injures, fabricated illness, sexual abuse and radicalisation.
