Following its July 2024 merger into the Spain-headquartered Pérez-Llorca, the former Gonzalez Calvillo capital markets team is even better placed to provide transactional support to both issuers and investors of securities including FIBRAs, CKDs, and CERPIS. The team handles equity, debt and hybrid securities offerings, as well as advising on acquisition financings and regulatory matters. An additional recent area of focus is advising on the issuance of CEBURES and securitisations. The practice is co-led by two partners: José Ignacio Rivero Andere, who has a broad corporate and transactional practice; and Bernardo Reyes Retana, who has notable experience in private and public offerings of securities in Mexico and abroad. Former practice co-head Daniel Guaida Azar left the firm in April 2024.
