Marcus Billam is a Partner at Gide M&A Department. He specialises in mergers and acquisitions and securities law and essentially advises listed and unlisted companies and family groups in their strategic and cross-border projects. He has worked with industrialists and investment funds on many market transactions. Marcus Billam also advises listed companies regarding corporate governance issues. Before joining Gide, Marcus Billam was a partner at Darrois Villey Maillot Brochier from 2015, after being a partner at Allen & Overy (2010 – 2015). Prior to that, he was a partner at Clifford Chance (2000 to 2010) and Darrois Villey Maillot Brochier (1998 to 2000). He is a graduate of Paris II – Assas (1982-1986).

Admitted to the Paris Bar in 1990, partner Olivier Diaz has over 25 years' experience in complex mergers and acquisitions, private equity operations, securities law and corporate law. His practice covers a wide variety of transactions, in particular public and private acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, joint ventures and corporate restructurings. During his career, Olivier has worked with clients on the largest and most complex M&A transactions in France, particularly in industrial fields, such as telecoms, energy, financial institutions and the food industry. He also assists companies on complex governance issues and is regularly consulted by regulators on securities and corporate law issues.
