Adolfo Mesquita Nunes joins Pérez-Llorca’s Lisbon office in 2024 as a Public and Regulatory Law partner and to contribute to the international strategy of the firm. Before joining Pérez-Llorca, he was partner at a Portuguese firm, specialised in regulation, public policy and procurement and administrative litigation.
Carlos joined Pérez-Llorca in 2023 as a Partner to contribute to the international strategy of the firm and is based in Portugal where he is responsible for the Banking, Energy & Infrastructure practice. Before joining Pérez-Llorca, he was a Partner at a reputed Portuguese law firm where he headed the Finance, Energy & Infrastructure practice. Prior to that, he was a senior lawyer in the Banking & Projects department of a Magic Circle law firm with offices in Lisbon and a lawyer in a reputed Iberian law firm. Furthermore, Carlos was also member of the cabinet of the Portuguese Minister of State and Finance and senior consultant at UTAP (the Portuguese Public-Private Partnerships unit).
Débora joined Pérez-Llorca’s Lisbon office in 2024 as a Public Law and Regulatory partner. Before joining Pérez-Llorca, she served as one of the partners leading the Public Law and Regulatory practice area at a Portuguese law firm. From 2007 to 2020, she worked as an associate in two of the most prestigious teams specializing in Public and Administrative Law in Portugal. During this time, she gained extensive experience dealing with high-end public law and regulatory issues. Débora also worked as a legal advisor to the Minister for Administrative Modernization. Currently, she serves as an arbitrator at the Administrative Arbitration Centre (CAAD).
Evo joined Pérez-Llorca in 2024 as a partner to contribute to the international development of the firm from Lisbon. He developed his professional career in international law firms and, prior to joining Pérez-Llorca, was a senior lawyer in the corporate and real estate department of a “Magic Circle” law firm in Lisbon and previously a lawyer in the real estate and construction department in a reputed Iberian law firm.
Gonçalo joined Pérez-Llorca in 2023 as a partner to contribute to the international development of the firm and to foster relationships with clients and institutions outside Spain, specifically in the Portuguese-speaking markets, with a special focus on Portugal and Brazil. He is part of the firm’s LatAm and Portuguese Desks.
Inês joined Pérez-Llorca in 2024 as a partner in the context of the international expansion strategy of the firm. Prior to this, she was a partner in the Finance and Governance department and a specialised member of the Fintech, Whistleblowing EU Directive and Compliance teams of the firm where she used to work. Before that Inês was a legal adviser to the Prudential Supervision Department of the Portuguese Central Bank (Banco de Portugal), after being part of the Portuguese Government team in charge of managing and controlling the implementation of the EU/IMF/ECB financial adjustment program in Portugal. She started her career as a lawyer in another international law firm.
Inês joined Pérez-Llorca in 2024 as a partner in the Employment, Compensation and Benefits practice at the Lisbon office to strengthen de international strategy. She has forged her career in leading Portuguese and international firms. Until joining Pérez-Llorca, she was the partner in charge of the labour law department of the firm where she worked.
Manuel joined Pérez-Llorca in 2023 as a Capital Markets partner in the Lisbon office of the firm. Between 2017 and 2023 he led the capital markets and financial services team of a Portuguese law firm integrated in an international network. Prior to that, he worked for almost a decade in the capital markets practice area at the Lisbon and London offices of a prestigious international firm.
Rita joined Pérez-Llorca’s Lisbon office in 2024 as a partner for the Competition, European Union, and Regulation practice area and to strengthen the international strategy of the firm. Rita has developed her career in leading Portuguese and international law firms. Prior to joining the firm, she was a partner in a renowned Portuguese firm specialised in European Union and Competition Law.
Head of Corporate / M&ARodrigo has focused his professional activity on M&A, private equity and other corporate finance, corporate governance, corporate restructuring and regulatory matters.He has been advising clients on cross-border and local transactions and providing on-going legal assistance to several entities across different sectors, in particular to companies in the industrial, energy, healthcare, financial and insurance sectors.
Susana joins Pérez-Llorca’s Lisbon office in 2024 to contribute to the international strategy of the firm in the Tax practice area. She has forged her career in Portuguese and international law firms and, until joining Pérez-Llorca, she was a tax partner in the Lisbon office of a Spanish law firm.
