Magdalena Raducanu is Special Counsel in the Bucharest office and the head of the local Banking and Finance practice. Magdalena has more than 20 years of experience in all aspects of banking and financing (projects, real estate and corporate finance) acting on behalf of both lenders and borrowers, and assisting well-reputed financial institutions on the local and international markets. She also has significant exposure to general corporate law.

Remus Codreanu is a Partner with a broad experience in advising and representing Romanian and international companies on various types of areas such as: litigation & arbitration (he advised and represented Romanian and international companies in more than 900 litigation and arbitration cases), employment, public and administrative law, including public procurement, intellectual property law (especially, trademark and copyright’s law), insolvencies, media law and CRSI contentious matters. Remus also has extensive experience on PPP and procurement related matters, advising clients in all stages of processes – from pre-qualification and tender related preparation, selection and negotiation through to award or related disputes arising therefrom. He is nevertheless expert in employment-related matters since he has been actively involved in negotiations of collective labour contracts between employers and labour associations and represented numerous local companies before Romanian employment courts on a range of employment issues such as: labour agreements, dismissals of top and middle management employees.

Victor Constantinescu is the Managing Partner of our Bucharest office and the Co-Head of the firm-wide real estate sector, with his remit extending across the entire C/SEE region. Victor focuses on all aspects of real estate transactions in the region for a range of international investment funds and local developers with over 15 years’ experience locally and regionally. His particular emphasis is on transactional work: acquisitions and sales of commercial real estate, as well as joint ventures, across all asset classes: retail, office, logistics, and agricultural. He has built a reputation for efficiency and commercial pragmatism in organizing and closing transactions and for building long-term relationships – skills that have earned him recognition as a top real estate practitioner for years in a row by major legal guides. Since joining the firm in 2017, Victor has already led transactions whose combined value well exceeds EUR 500 million.

Zsuzsa Csiki is a Partner in our Bucharest office. She is the head of the local M&A and Corporate practice, also leading the capital markets, financial regulatory and technology, media & telecommunications practices. Zsuzsa has over 13 years of experience in advising renowned companies on local and cross-border transactions and corporate reorganisations. Her practice focuses on structuring and negotiating business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, reorganisations, private equity transactions, divestitures, business transfers, executive compensation and incentive equity arrangements or other general corporate matters. Zsuzsa’s expertise also includes working on capital markets and financial regulatory matters, guiding banks and other financial institutions through complex, international regulatory environments. Zsuzsa has advised on sophisticated mandates across many sectors with a strong focus on technology, media and telecommunications, where she personally handles matters as diverse as M&A, PE strategic investments, telecom acquisitions and related integrations, transfer of assets, GDPR implementation, contractual, consumer and compliance law aspects
