The firm: STALFORT Legal. Tax. Audit. has been supporting foreign clients acquiring, establishing or managing Romanian businesses. Since then, it has consistently grown organically.

Today, more than 30 people (attorneys at law, tax advisors auditors, etc) are active in three offices throughout the country, located in Bucharest, Bistrita and Sibiu, all ready to guide clients through challenges such as market entries, corporate and M&A, real estate and construction, employment, dispute resolution, and many more.

Audit. offers a wide range of specialised legal advice, tax and audit services to clients from around the world, comprising small and medium-sized companies as well as global players. It is particularly, but not exclusively, specialised on German and German-speaking clients.

The core team includes experienced German, Austrian and Romanian professionals, who have been working exclusively for the company for more than ten years.

The firm aims at maintaining long-lasting partnerships with its clients. It has been advising the major part of them beginning with their market entry – mostly via greenfield – investment, M&A or joint ventures. During recent years, the firm has become an essential resource to companies requiring restructuring measures such as spin-offs or mergers – whether national or cross-border.

Areas of practice
Corporate: incorporation of companies; obtaining public law authorisations and permits; general corporate matters; participations; joint ventures; restructurings; and the dissolution and liquidation of companies.
