He has many years’ experience of commercial real estate, with a particular focus on undertaking investment and asset management work. He has acted for clients on a wide variety of acquisitions, disposals, fundings, developments and lettings, including major portfolio transactions, joint ventures and complex financing models. James also specialises in developing and implementing innovative service delivery models, which maximise efficiency and consistency of approach for our clients. James is responsible for our Real Estate relationships with a broad range of investors including UK and European institutions, fund managers, private equity houses and property companies.

Melanie is a partner who has specialised in construction law for over 15 years. Melanie has worked on energy and infrastructure projects in the UK and internationally and devised, drafted and negotiated complex and innovative contract structures. Melanie leads the team advising on the construction contracts for the London Array Offshore Wind Farm (the world’s largest offshore wind farm in operation) and is currently advising on another three offshore wind projects. In addition Melanie is very active in the nuclear sector, particularly nuclear decommissioning projects, acting for the NDA and private sector clients.
