Partner who litigates patents (especially pharmaceutical, biosimilar and oil and gas services industry patents). Amund advises on patents and trademarks validity and infringement issues and on issues relating to employee inventors’ rights, trade secrets, unfair competition and marketing law. He drafts technology transfer, R&D and consortium agreements (all sectors). He has represented clients in disputes relating to these areas, and also in other IP-related commercial litigation. Amund is a qualified arbitrator and has experience as an arbitrator in international commercial arbitration cases.

Ida Gjessing
Partner Ida Gjessing is a litigator who concentrates on patent and trademark cases (all sectors). She has extensive litigation experience in the area of patents and SPSs (pharmacuetical, biosimilar and veterinary patents. On the non-contentious side she provides advice on all aspects of IP law, including designs and copyrights, research ethics and marketing law. She chairs the Council dealing with Unfair Marketing Practices (NKU).

Partner whose areas of concentration are TMT law and copyrights. He has extensive experience with the drafting and negotiation of IT contracts, personal data processing, legal support for research and development projects and rights holders within the media and entertainment sector, including licensing agreements, consultancy agreements and consortium agreements. Øystein advises and represents collecting societies and other right holders in contract negotiations and dispute resolution processes. He has a keen interest in the use of music, film and literature in digital media. He has worked extensively with technology related matters, including matters relating to data protection and the regulatory implications of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Partner who specialises in IT/technology law, personal data law, and intellectual property law. within technology law, data privacy law and intellectual property law. Having previously held the position as Head of Legal in IBM Norway for nine years, he has hands-on experience from the IT industry. Simen has advised on a number of different echnology related legal issues, iand has negotiated and drafted a large number of major IT contracts across the full spectrum of software, hardware and services, and other commercial contracts such as R&D agreements, technology consortium agreements, licensing agreements, and partner- and distribution agreements. He has extensive experience from advising on IP rights in connection with technology transactions. Simen has been advising a number of private and public organisations on data privacy/GDPR matters.
