Callum has been a criminal clerk since 2014, where he met both Joel and Leon, accumulating over 10 years’ experience in the legal sector. Callum holds the position as 1st Junior Clerk and his roles involve dealing with diary management, the day to day operating of the diary, all aspects of case administration and delivering professional services with the highest of quality to our clients and enquiries received via both phone and e-mail from either solicitors, CPS and barristers within chambers. Callum has recently in 2021 completed the Bar Council's Public Access for clerks course, which enables him to support barristers when accepting Public Access instructions. Callum also deals with the out of hours phone calls for court cover.

Emily Winter

Emily is responsible for all aspects of Rose Court Chambers’ billing and fees collection. In addition to this she also manages Chambers’ financial administration. Emily has over 10 years’ experience as a fees clerk, and previously was a fees clerk at Furnival Chambers for 5 years before coming to Rose Court. She has proven herself to be highly proficient in all types of criminal billing, for both defence and prosecution. She will always utilise her experience and knowledge to make sure counsel are remunerated to the fullest extent possible.

Joel Mason

Joel has been described as "formidable" and "one of the best clerks in London" Legal 500, 2017. A career that has spanned for well over two decades, Joel brings a wealth of experience to Rose Court Chambers. His unmistakable and unrivalled ability to interact with professional clients is what sets him apart from his peers. Without a doubt a true leader in his profession.

Leon St. Muir

Leon has amassed over 20 years of experience in the legal profession. Having clerked at some of the most established criminal sets in London and the Caribbean, Leon has become, and it has been said “one of the most influential clerks around.” He has the responsibility of managing and developing the individual practices of each member, which also includes the strategic and focused business development and marketing of chambers.
