His specialization lies in federal taxes and international taxation. Throughout his professional journey, Miguel Ángel has actively engaged in national and international corporate restructurings and has advised both private and public companies from diverse industries. Additionally, he has also played a role in evaluating several cross-border transactions, facilitating investment projects in Mexico, and assisting in the placement of shares on the Mexican Stock Exchange. The above, with special focus on domestic provisions, as well as the provisions contained in treaties to avoid double taxation. Furthermore, Miguel Angel has successfully guided companies in negotiating with governmental authorities to analyze tax reforms related to the digital economy and virtual assets.

Bernardo Mendoza
Bernardo is a Partner at Kavanagh Gorozpe. He has a strong track record advising companies in the financial, banking, and technology sectors on complex administrative law matters, regulatory compliance, and anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing (AML/CTF). As Deputy General Director at the National Banking and Securities Commission, he contributed to the drafting and amendment of AML/CTF regulations and oversaw the supervision of investment advisors in this area. He also played an active role in the development of the Law to Regulate Financial Technology Institutions and has designed and implemented compliance processes tailored to highly regulated industries.
